Huong Nguyen-Hilfiger serves as the Director of the Office of Health Informatics (OHI) in the Division of Public Health, Wisconsin Department of Health Services. OHI is responsible for the technical infrastructure and systems supporting public health programs, collection, and maintenance of state vital records and other public health data, analytics and reporting, and data governance.

Huong has over twelve years of leadership, management, and consulting experience in public health and healthcare systems, focusing on innovation and organizational change, strategy and business planning, and technology modernization to improve patient care and population health. Huong is passionate about the application of analytics and informatics to inform decision-making and improve population health outcomes. Huong holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Management from Columbia University and a dual Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology from Macalester College.
