We are excited to announce the launch of WISHIN 2.0, a major upgrade to the WISHIN underlying technical infrastructure and Pulse community health record powering new functionality. WISHIN 2.0 will go live on August 3, 2026.
This upgrade is designed to make your experience more efficient and intuitive. WISHIN 2.0 is powered by Ninja Universe™ and brings a redesigned user interface, expanded patient search, richer clinical data views, and population health tools — all in one place.
Please review this guide carefully and take the required steps before go-live to ensure uninterrupted access for you and your team. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to serving you with even better tools for coordinating patient care across Wisconsin.

Prepare Now
Take these steps before August 3, 2026 to ensure a smooth transition for you and your team:
- Submit your updated user lists to WISHIN: wishin.support@wishin.org.
- Specify preference for Single Sign-On (SSO) or direct access to WISHIN.
- Training dates and materials will be coordinated with Participant user admin.
- Complete required WISHIN 2.0 training before August 3, 2026. Training sessions will be offered via webinar July – August, and available on WISHIN’s YouTube channel.
- Ensure all users have a valid email address on file.
- Bookmark the new WISHIN 2.0 portal URL shared in the training materials your onboarding communication.
- Inform your team that the legacy WISHIN web-portal will be decommissioned following the August 3 go-live.
- Download or save any reports from the legacy WISHIN web-portal you may need for audit or other HIPAA-related purposes.
- Contact WISHIN support at wishin.support@wishin.org with any questions before go-live.

Common WISHIN 2.0 Questions & Answers
1. How does WISHIN 2.0 benefit me?
WISHIN 2.0 delivers a redesigned web-portal powered by Ninja Universe™ with faster patient lookup, richer clinical data displays including timelines and lab trends, a personalized My Patients population dashboard, and population health and quality reporting tools. The new platform offers greater EHR workflow integration with an enhanced and intuitive experience for users.
2. Will access to the legacy WISHIN Pulse portal still work on August 3?
On August 3, 2026, access to the legacy WISHIN Pulse portal will be replaced by WISHIN 2.0. You will need to log in to the new portal using your updated credentials. The legacy WISHIN Pulse portal will be decommissioned following go-live.
3. Do I need to re-enroll or create a new account?
You will need new credentials and accept the updated End User License Agreement (EULA) the first time you log in to WISHIN 2.0. Login credentials and instructions will be coordinated with Participant user admins prior to go-live.
4. Will there be training before go-live?
It is strongly encouraged that all WISHIN users complete WISHIN 2.0 training before August 3, 2026. Your organization’s designated training coordinator will receive the schedule. Webinar-based training sessions will be offered July-August 2026. Visit wishin.org/wishin-2-0 for dates and registration.
5. What is my organization responsible for before go-live?
Your organization must submit a current and complete user list to WISHIN. This includes adding new users, removing staff who have left, and verifying email addresses. Outdated user lists may result in access issues at go-live.
6. Will my patient data and history still be there?
Yes. Historical patient records and clinical data will be available in WISHIN 2.0. Note: that data prior to 2024 will be available in the new system overtime as the prior for go-live is 2024-current day data.
7. What new data types are available in WISHIN 2.0?
WISHIN 2.0 includes expanded data from additional Wisconsin health systems and adds new data types, including deeper clinical notes, structured visit history, key clinical indicators, and enhanced lab and radiology data with trend visualization.
8. Will there be any service disruption at go-live?
WISHIN may experience brief service interruptions during the transition period around August 3. Any planned downtime will be communicated in advance through your organization’s WISHIN contact and posted to the WISHIN 2.0 webpage: wishin.org/wishin-2-0.
9. Is my patient data secure in WISHIN 2.0?
Yes. WISHIN 2.0 maintains all existing HIPAA-compliant data security standards, including HITRUST certification. The upgraded platform includes enhanced audit logging and access controls to protect patient privacy.
