WISHIN is Wisconsin's state-designated Health Information Exchange (HIE) that aggregates patient medical records from most providers, hospitals, clinics, and payers across the state, creating a single longitudinal record of their health data rather than scattered files in separate systems. A patient's care team and new providers can see the full picture, past visits, test results, medications, diagnoses, and more, regardless of where the patient has previously received care, guiding healthcare providers in making better clinical decisions.
