WISHIN’s mission and vision are on keeping Wisconsinites healthy. WISHIN’s work to keep Wisconsinites healthy is getting national attention.
WISHIN has been invited to present at two national conferences. And a third national group has highlighted its partnership with WISHIN in a video.
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) interviewed WISHIN Director of Population Health and Analytics, Matt Gigot. Matt discussed WISHIN’s involvement in the NCQA Data Aggregator Validation (DAV) program. See the video here.
The DAV program evaluates the clinical data ingestion, transformation and output of aggregation for the purpose of HEDIS® quality reporting. Through this accreditation, health plans and care delivery organizations can be confident in the validity of the clinical data they are using for quality reporting, value-based contracting, closing gaps in care and other initiatives.
WISHIN was part of the first cohort of HIEs to voluntarily seek and earn NCQA DAV-accreditation in 2021.
Matt will attend the NCQA Health Innovation Summit in San Diego, California, in October.
WISHIN’s partnership with KPI Ninja will be highlighted at the Health Catalyst Analytics Summit (HAS 25) in Salt Lake City, Utah, August 26-28. WISHIN CEO Steve Rottmann and Project Director Laura Widder will present “Unlocking New Insights: The Power of WISHIN Using KPI Ninja.”
In late September, WISHIN team members will work with MetaStar team members on a presentation to a national audience at the Civitas Networks for Health® Annual Conference in Anaheim, California.
While WISHIN’s work is focused on Wisconsin and contiguous states, its accomplishments have been recognized, highlighted and praised across the country.
