New Third Assistant Administrator
This is an update on leadership changes within the Division of Care and Treatment Services.
Leon Lipp is joining the Administrator’s Office as the assistant administrator responsible for supporting offices and teams focused on client rights, communications, electronic health records systems management, policy, and risk management. He will step into this role November 2, 2025.
With Lipp’s hire, the executive management team of the Division of Care and Treatment Services now includes an administrator and three assistant administrators who individually and collectively support the division’s four administrative offices, two bureaus focused on community-based services, two psychiatric hospitals, two secure treatment centers, and three centers for people with intellectual disabilities.
Lipp has more than 30 years of experience with the operations of the Division of Care and Treatment Services, including direct care, management, and quality improvement roles at the Wisconsin Resource Center and as the director of the Office of Electronic Health Records Systems Management since 2016.
The recruitment for a new director of the Office of Electronic Health Records Systems Management will begin soon.
The Division of Care and Treatment Services executive leadership team includes administrator Gynger Steele and assistant administrators Lipp, Jessie Andrews, and Lars Brown.
